This edition of Amplify Christ looks at the darker moments of life, asking whether God is present during those times. Throughout Scripture, God’s people often faced difficult circumstances, sometimes of their own making. Yet God did not forsake them. Despite the judgment of exile, God forgave His people and brought them back to Himself and their homeland. God is with us in our moments of despair. Sometimes we bring those times on ourselves. At other times, difficulty arises for seemingly no reason. Regardless, God meets His people in their darkness, showing them His compassion and faithfulness.
